Perform chemical analysis & physical property testing of material & products. Research new products from trial through to commercialisation and improve product lines. Coordinate & perform testing. Analysis data to develop conclusion. Communicate result of analysis & research. Evaluate current processes and develop improvements to safety, quality & efficency. Create standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products & test. Assist in establishment of timeline and budgets. Design plant and equipment configuration so that they can be readily adapted to suit the product range and the process technologies involved, taking environmental and economic aspects into account.
