STPP (Sodium tripolyphosphate)
STPP is the sodium salt of the polyphosphate penta-anion, which is the conjugate base of triphosphoric acid. It is produced on a large scale as a component of many domestic and industrial products, especially detergents. STPP is a white, granular or crystalline powder that is highly soluble in water. It is also known as pentasodium triphosphate or sodium triphosphate.

APPLICATION & USAGE
- STPP is used in a variety of industrial and consumer products. In the food industry, it is used as a preservative and to improve the texture of processed foods such as seafood, poultry, and meat.
- It is also used as a water softener in detergents and cleaning products, and as a dispersing agent in oil drilling and ceramics production.
